Department Overview

The Department of Radiology & Imaging) of Shaheed Suhrawardy medical college is one of the most esteemed, comprehensive and interdisciplinary center serving the needs of patients came to different department for taking treatment where the physician advised different valuable investigations-like X-ray, USG, CT Scan, MRI. Our highly-trained Radiologist and specialists have innovative technologies and embraced the latest interventional techniques. Our department provides teaching for undergraduate education.

Daily Activities in the Department

Radiology & Imaging Department of Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College & Hospital provides services to the patients coming from different department (both outdoor and indoor) for radiological investigation. Our daily activities are as follows:

Outdoor patients are seen by the doctors including specialists regularly except holy day from 8.00 am to 2.30 pm-X-ray, Different Contrast Examination, USG, 4D-USG, Anomaly Scan, USG-GUIDED Aspiration & FNAC, CT Scan, CT guided FNAC..
From 12:00 pm to 2:30 pm academic activities such as seminar, journal club and case presentations are going on.
Classes with practical demonstration are taken of the students of 3^rd year MBBS according to their academic calendar as per schedule.
Lecture classes for 5^th year MBBS students are taken according to their academic calendar.
Lectures and clinical classes are taken daily for doctors who are getting post graduate students regularly.
